Blue Coat WebFilter voted top content filtering solution by IT users in Singapore

(NASDAQ: BCSI), a leader in WAN Application Delivery and Secure Web Gateway, today announced that its enterprise content filtering solution, Blue Coat® WebFilter, which runs on Blue Coat ProxySG® appliances, has been awarded the Computerworld Singapore Readers' Choice Award 2007 in the "Content Filtering" category. The award attests to the popularity and esteem Blue Coat WebFilter has achieved among IT users in Singapore. Throughout Asia Pacific and the rest of the world, Blue Coat WebFilter is known for its powerful filtering and protective capabilities, Dynamic Real-Time Rating (DRTR) for new and previously undiscovered phishing or inappropriate content sites, user-friendliness and competitive price range.

Blue Coat WebFilter is the first Web content filter to feature Real-Time Anti-Phishing protection. Most of the industry's available anti-phishing solutions provide protection solely by checking a user's Web URL requests against a database of known phishing sites.
